1️⃣ We want to help empower community leads to build or run a successful Tech Brews Community.

2️⃣ We have relatively few community principles, outlined above. Beyond that, there are a few more for community leads:
- Please be welcoming of all guests but be willing to put your foot down if someone’s behaviour is inappropriate. Our admin team is happy to assist you anytime you may have an issue.
- We strongly advocate for a free regular event. We understand if this is not possible in different circumstances and you may need to charge or find a sponsor- please get in touch with us to discuss!
- Of course special events may need to be ticketed, we totally understand. The team has a wide network and may be able to help you source resources- again just contact us!
3️⃣So everyone works off the same common tooling (consistent UX for the community) please use our:

- Notion (as reference)
- Miro (to create marketing collaterals)
- Gmail tooling (for correspondence)

WORKFLOW
- Event is listed on Lu.Ma
- Event is publicised on Linkedin 2-7 days before the event (depending on location)
- Send a reminder to the country WhatsApp (wechat) group
- On the day of the event
- If guests have registered on lu.ma - check them in
- If not, encourage but not compel them to register
- the registration asks for consent to add them to the WhatsApp group and Tag them on LinkedIn
- Take a wefie!
- After the event
- Those who consented will be added to the whatsapp (wechat) group
- 1-2 days post event- post an after action report on whatsapp (wechat)
- 2-4 days post event- post an after action report on LinkedIn
